Great pictures.

All that work must have taken quite a while.

Awesome work, Adam. It looks like a complicated build, too.

Very nice Adam ........ how do you rate the 'difficulty level' of the train against the tank? I've never thought of building a train :) .... maybe I should....

Thanks for nice words :)
Malc, I've never build a locomotive before, but for example; I was building model of Tiger for eight months, when locomotive took me eight months as well and it's still isn't finished. I have to add, that I aslo have to paint the locomotive, because original colours of model aren't similar to the colours of the real locomotive. The most difficult part to make, both in train and tank, is the drive sistem. Also locomotive is much bigger than tank. I'm trying to make this locomotive similar to the real one hard as possible. I never thought that making the locomotive may give so much satisfaction :)

Welcome again :) Because I didn't had much of the free time progress of mine model is very small. Still I'm working with the drive of the locomotive. Part shown on first picture is a part proposed by the author of model. They are very simple, so I decided to add some more details which are on the real locomotive.

Very nice work, Adam. Even down to the copper piping. Are those white slider bars laser-cut parts or have you made them from something else?

Welcome Steve :) Thanks for nice words. I tried to make the slide from paper, but after few tries the effect wasn't as I expected. During the visit in the modelers shop, I've notice the sections plastic (I'm not sure do you spell it like that). One of them perfectly fit to the slide that I'm doing. Middle of the slide is made from plastic, ends are made from the original paper part. This solution is the best, because whole slide will be painted with metal cote from Humbrol (number 27003). Then it will be polished.
See you later :)

That was a great find to get something exactly the right dimensions. You spelled "plastic" correctly, too. :)

Hi again. Today's progress update is about locomotive's drive. I was working on this elements for two days, however I thought that this work will be less time consuming. I've tried to show how this work proceeded. I'm sorry for poor quality of the photos, daughter is on holidays and took my camera with her. As usual I've add some parts and details to those original parts.

Wow! I can certainly see why these took two days. Would have probably taken me even longer. Excellent work, Adam. She's really starting to look like something special now. Great stuff, mate :)

Welcome after a few weeks break, sorry, I've been very busy. I'd like to upload some pictures, even if the progress is not very big, so my work has not been canceled. It don't looks very spectacular, the work with that parts took about a day. Part that I'm showing at this time has to be movable, because I don't know how the other parts will fit, so I want to have a quarantine that everything will be perfect. :) Sorry for very so complicated sentences, but I hope that tomorrow or day after tomorrow, when I'll finish the whole drive, pictures will show the difficulty of fitting part together.
I'm waiting for your comments and suggestions ;)
